In 2013, when I was in year 10, I was required to design a bedside table for Design and Technology. We were limits in sizing and range of materials to use. Another requirement for the bedside table was the inclusion of at least one drawer. After numerous plans and research, I decided to go with a design which had a small drawer for paper at the top, a large drawer at the bottom as well as a bookshelf in the middle.
The Buhrich House II was designed by Hugh Buhrich in 1968 and completed in 1972. It is snuggled in bushland along the water-edge facade of Sugarloaf Bay in Castlecrag, northern Sydney. What makes the design of this house exquisite is the fact that by expressing the textual and tactile qualities of materials, it actually blends into the surroundings rather than disturb. Features that help achieve this include the wave roof-ceiling as well as the open plan living towards the coast.

In February 2017, I visited many sights of Guangzhou, China. I took this picture of Guangzhou Tower on February 6. Officially opened on October 1 2010, it is 600 metres high - 450 metre main body and 150 metre antenna - making it the highest building in China and third highest in the world.
